Coal India: Shares of the Coal India Limited were the top gainers on Sensex on Tuesday. The company will earn incremental revenue of Rs 1956 crores for the balance period of the FY 2017-18. The projected yearly incremental revenue would be Rs. 6,421 cr. Reacting the development, shares of Coal India Limited surged nearly 8.19 percent to the day’s high of Rs 311 before settling up 5.76 percent at Rs 304.
Electrosteel: Electrosteel shares rise 5% after the company announced it got resolution plans from Tata Steel, Vedanta Ltd, Edelweiss-ARC & Renaissance Steel. The stock hit 5 percent upper circuit for a 4th straight session.
Infosys: Shares of Infosys Ltd up nearly 1 percent after the company announced that it has signed an advance pricing pact with the US Internal Revenue Services. The agreement would result in a reversal of USD 225 million of tax provisions.
SBI: public sector banking & financial services company State Bank of India proposed to raise Rs 5000 crore via long-term bonds to fund affordable housing.
