The public sector banks’ shares were trading higher in today’s trading sessions at NSE. State bank of India (SBI) is the top gainer in the Nifty PSU Bank index, trading higher by 1.24% at Rs 306.7/share. The stock has touched its fresh 52-week high of Rs 310/share up by 2.3 percent in the mid-noon hours today. Meantime, the traded volume of stock figures at 84,43,009 shares and Rs. 260.16 Cr, on NSE. The SBI is announcing its last quarterly financial results today, without factoring in the performance of its five associate banks that newly got merged with the SBI.
